BIDBOROUGH Cricket Club have enjoyed a remarkably successful season with all three of its senior teams performing impressively in the Kent County Village League (KCVL) and their juniors also showing great promise.

The First XI were KCVL Division One champions, the second team won Division Four and the thirds were promoted from Division Seven.

Meanwhile the Under-15s were crowned Kent Premier League champions at that age group, and the Under-9s qualified for finals day of the Kent Mini 8s at Beckenham last weekend.

James Baldock, the First XI captain, was impressed by his side’s dedication: “The first team have worked hard all season, winning 14 out of their 15 matches, and we fully deserve the title.”

“It’s an amazing achievement by the team, made up of young new talent and experienced players. We can be very proud of all our achievements.”
