GRIN AND BEAR IT Teddy Selfie with Katie Gardner, Area Fundraiser and Philip Roberton, ellenor volunteer

A GIANT teddy bear has taken up residence in Royal Victoria Place in the build-up to Christmas, and wants to have his picture taken with shoppers and their families to raise money for the charity ellenor.

The teddy, called ‘Selfie’, will be on the second floor between French Connection and Ernest Jones every day until 4.30pm on Christmas Eve.

If you Tweet your teddy picture using hashtag #RVPTeddySelfie by midnight on Christmas Eve, you could be one of five winners of a £50 Royal Victoria Place Gift Card.

ellenor provides specialist hospice care to the homes of terminally-ill children, allowing families to spend more time together.

All its services are offered free of charge to babies, children, young adults and their families.
