The ongoing £2.5million development of the Next Dimensions Gymnastics Academy (NDGA) has seen its latest addition open to the public – a soft play area.
Situated above the viewing gallery, the area is intended for children who are aged eight or under who can play while their friend or sibling is in the gymnasium.
This will allow friends and parents to watch their gymnast perform without facing distraction from hyperactive children.
Operations Manager at NDGA Grace Spencer said: “Our soft play area is divided into two sections to suit different stages of development.
“Those under the age of two can crawl around the soft pitted area with soft objects to manoeuvre.
“Those between two to eight years old can enjoy the two-tiered play area, which includes slides and dens.”
