FOUR pupils from Wouldham All Saints Church of England Primary School have won first prize in a competition to design a Christmas card for the Mayor of Tonbridge and Malling, Roger Dalton.

Shay Malone, Izzy McNally, Elizabeth Summerley and Hebe Roddick worked together to design a card made up of four images: a reindeer, penguins, mother and baby bird and a snowman.

The artists won 24 printed cards of their design and a £25 voucher for the school.

Pupils from St Katherine’s School in Snodland and Ditton Church of England Junior School came second and third -respectively.

Cllr Dalton said: “It was an absolute treat to see all the beautiful Christmas card designs, which were so creative and full of Christmas cheer.

“It was extremely difficult to select a winner but the four designs submitted by the children at Wouldham School really appealed to me and I’m delighted to declare them the winners.”
